“You look like a kid – stick to Chipotle”

Their review of the restaurant was given a bit of thumbs up.

Restaurant rip-offs by influencers have practically become a genre unto themselves. However, one food critic divided her TikTok audience after trolling a popular Greek seafood joint – with one naysayer telling her to “stay at Chipotle”.

The online epicure, who goes by @so_rhidiculous on the platform, had visited the Toronto, Canada branch of Estiatorio Milos, a Montreal-based fish restaurant that has outlets all over the world from Singapore to New York City.

The Mediterranean mussel harbor has been rated by the Michelin guide for top-notch seafood, including the colossal red Carabinero shrimp, which fetch over $100 a pound.

“Milos has opened its first location in Toronto, and I was so excited because I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about this restaurant,” said the reviewer, who went with a friend.

Unfortunately, it “didn’t live up to the hype,” according to the internet foodie, who called the place “Toronto’s worst dining experience.”

The first thing she put on the verbal souvlaki skewer was service.

“We’ve been here for an hour, and all they’ve given us is bread,” lamented the reviewer, who said that when the food arrived, it was a bit hit or miss.

She said she liked Milo’s “deep-fried zucchini,” which came in a mile-high pile.

The lobster pasta, on the other hand, was a “huge mistake,” according to Canuck, who claimed she “started not feeling so good after” eating it.

“Don’t take this,” she urged viewers.

Also hurt was the content creator’s portfolio.

The meal reportedly cost her $290 — with the lobster pasta making up $145 of the total tab.

She didn’t like that while they were eating appetizers, someone who appeared to be the manager asked them if they ordered anything else; the pair were surprised that the worker didn’t know they had “over-ordered”.

However, some TikTok geeks disagreed with her assessment of Milos, which currently boasts a four-star rating out of 53 reviews on Google.

“You sound like a child with your ‘criticism’ of this restaurant,” said one critic. “Maybe the mgr wanted to check the rest of your order? Do you ever think about that? Of course not. Better stay at Chipotle – more your speed.”

“LMAO … they fit better on red lobster,” said another. “This restaurant was absolutely amazing. To try two things on the menu and think you can do a review is absolutely ridiculous.”

However, other commenters rallied to the influencer’s defense.

“I love that these people are defending charging you THREE HUNDRED FIFTY dollars for a meal,” wrote one. “At those prices, the service should treat you like a god and everything else[thing] anything less is absolutely unacceptable.”

Another fan said: “If I had to wait over an hour for food I would have left or just not tipped at all. this is absolutely ridiculous. An hour for appetizers? No no.”

“You know what, you’re absolutely right! Thank you”, replied the influencer in the comments.

In 2022, Milos founder Chef Costas Spiliadis opened his first hotel in the heart of Athens with rooms starting at $420 per night.
